  • In our hybrid model, students are on campus two days a week on Mondays and Thursdays from 8am-2pm in normal classroom settings. On their home assignment days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, students work under the hands-on supervision of their parents at their leisure.

  • In the elementary grades, parent involvement is essential for the academic success of their child. In these grades, parents work directly with their child on their reading, writing and arithmetic assignments as well as any projects in science and history. The parent follows the teacher’s lesson plans while their child is at home with them.

  • Yes, all curriculum including text books and activity manuals are provided by the school.

  • Yes, teachers create all lesson plans for all subjects and grades.

  • NCA teachers use Google classroom for posting lesson plans and at-home assignments. The school uses email, newsletters and social media for communicating key events.

  • All teachers are required to have a minimum of a four year college degree.

  • Yes, students are required to wear a school approved uniform on campus days.

  • The class size varies. Elementary grades 12-14 students. Middle and High school 16-18

  • Yes, our students in grads 3rd-8th will take the nationally recognized Iowa Basic Standardized test in the fall semester.

  • Currently, we do not have after school programs but as we continue to grow, our opportunities to add extracurricular activities for students will grow, as well.

  • We currently do not offer a fine arts program, however we incorporate limited fine arts in our project based assignments.

  • Yes! We typically do one main fundraising event each school year.

  • Yes, parents are encouraged to participate in PTO events to support our teachers.
